These terms and conditions serve as a comprehensive agreement between PRElovable and clients consigning their clothing, footwear, and accessories for sale. By entrusting their items to PRElovable, clients agree to abide by the outlined terms, which cover various aspects of the consignment process, including item acceptance criteria, pricing, payment procedures, sales periods, and liability. It is essential to recognize that these terms and conditions form a binding contract upon consignment, governing the rights and responsibilities of both parties throughout the duration of the agreement. Clarity and adherence to these terms ensure a transparent and mutually beneficial consignment experience for all involved parties.

  1. Acceptance of Items:

   - All items must be presented in a clean and pristine condition, meeting our quality standards. However, we reserve the right to make exceptions based on our discretion.

  1. Pricing and Receipts:

   - Upon consigning your items with us, you will receive both a physical copy and an email receipt detailing the agreed-upon price points for each item.

- Price points are determined by the current market value for each item. 

  1. Payment:

   - Any payments for items sold will be facilitated through bank transfers.

   - Payments will be processed in the month following the sale, with transactions being handled in chronological order based on the sale date.

  1. Sales Period:

   - Your items will be available for purchase for a total of 8 weeks. During the first 6 weeks, they will be priced at their original value. Following this period, prices will be reduced by 20% to encourage sales.

   - Should you prefer that your items not undergo price reductions after the initial 6 weeks, please inform us accordingly.

  1. Unsold Items:

   - At the conclusion of the 8-week sales period, any unsold items will be made available for collection for a limited time.

   - Failure to collect unsold items within the specified timeframe may result in storage fees or the donation of items to charity. These fees will be deducted from the value of any items sold.

  1. Authenticity and Refusal:

   - We maintain a strict policy against accepting counterfeit items.

   - In cases where the authenticity of an item is in question, the client may be required to cover the costs associated with authenticating the item.

   - Please understand that refusal of items may occur for various reasons, unrelated to the quality of the item itself.

  1. Stock Policy:

   - We operate on a "full" policy, meaning that we may decline to accept items if our inventory capacity has been reached.

  1. Liability:

   - While we take precautions to ensure the security of consigned items, clients leave their property with us at their own risk.

   - We are insured against robbery, but not against shoplifting.

  1. Contract Period:

   - Once items are consigned to us, they are under contract for a period of 8 weeks and cannot be retrieved before this time elapses.

  1. Internet Sales:

   - Items listed for sale on our website may be priced slightly higher to cover online payment processing and platform fees.

  1. Promotional Contacts:

   - Periodically, we may reach out to clients for promotional purposes. Rest assured, your contact information will not be shared with any third parties.

  1. Cleaning Fees:

   - If items require dry cleaning or conditioning during their time with us, a flat fee of £10 per item may apply. This fee will either be deducted from the sale price or must be paid before unsold items are collected.

  1. Exclusive Contract:

   - During the consignment period, items are under contract with us and cannot be sold through other channels.

  1. Shop Policies:

   - Items may not be removed from the premises without prior arrangement with management.

  1. Credit Option:

   - All items consigned with us are eligible for our 3-month interest-free credit option, providing flexibility for customers. Payment is collected from the buyer in 3 installments and transferred to the seller once payment has been made in full.

  1. Communication:

  1. Insurance Responsibility:

   - Clients are responsible for ensuring that items valued over £100 are adequately insured against loss or damage.

  1. Advertisement Disclosure:

   - While not all consigned items may be featured on our website or social media channels, they are all made available for sale in our showroom.

  1. Acceptance:

   - By entrusting your items to PRElovable, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

In the event that any disparaging remarks or defamatory statements are made against our business on social media platforms, we reserve the right to take legal action under the provisions of the Malicious Communications Act. We value constructive feedback and encourage open communication, but we kindly request that any grievances or concerns be addressed directly with us to ensure resolution in a respectful manner.

  1. While we make every effort to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the items sold through our website, we cannot guarantee absolute immunity from fraudulent occurrences. In the unlikely event that such an incident occurs, we pledge to diligently investigate and take appropriate action. However, it's important to note that we do not have insurance coverage for such instances. We assure you that instances of fraud are exceedingly rare, and we are committed to working tirelessly to maintain the trust and satisfaction of our customers.
